My name is Alan Driggers, though most people simply call me Coach. I am the founder of The IEP Coach, and I work directly with families who have reached a breaking point with special education.

They are exhausted from meetings that go nowhere, reports that don't make sense, and decisions that don't align with what their child actually needs. They need someone who can step in, translate the language, challenge the assumptions, and advocate clearly and effectively.

I have spent over two decades inside the system.

I have been:

• A Special Education teacher in classrooms that were never designed for the students inside them
• A leader supporting campus and district teams with complex behavioral and instructional needs
• A 504 Coordinator helping families navigate unclear and inconsistent processes
• The person brought in when situations became complicated and direction was needed
• A trainer of teachers and school staff who want to do right by students but are constrained by a broken system

Along the way, I earned master's degrees in special education and educational leadership, as well as a certificate in performance-based school leadership. Not for titles. For tools. Because doing right by students requires both knowledge and leverage.

I have sat at every table. I know where the system works and exactly where it breaks.

Now, I use that experience to assist families like yours.
